Namaste – Welcome!

Join me visiting the land of the majestic snow-covered mountains, the Hindu Temples and the Buddhist Stupas. Nepal is shaped by its terrific Himalayan mountain formations and the true religiousness of its people.

Nepal – the legendary country at the edge of the Himalayan range. You will discover temples with exquisite wooden carvings in the valley of Kathmandu, a rich variety of animals and plants at the Chitwan National Park and the birthplace of Buddha in Lumbini. Experience the majestic mountains of the Annapurna massif during one of my trekking tours – All these sights are highlights for newcomers as well as for experts.

Namaste Nepal – Nepal welcomes you with all its beauty and its cultural diversity. Take your chance and travel with me to this small country with its gigantic dimensions. The highest altitude is the Mount Everest with 8848 meters. You can dive into the cultural diversity of Nepal by visiting the old kings´ places Patan and Bhaktapur, by climbing up the stairs to the Buddhist Temple Swajambhunath, by visiting the Hindu sanctuary of Pashupatinath or by circling the biggest Stupa of whole Kathmandu valley, Bodhnath. There are so many different things to see.

I am sure you will find a journey that suits your vision of a visit to Nepal within my offering. There is the „Trip To Nepal“ (Journey 1) to get a good first impression of the country. The „Annapurna Circuit“ (Journey 2) addresses advanced mountaineers and if you are interested in getting a closer feeling of Buddha, the „Nepal-Tibet-Journey“ (Journey 3) is your right choice. If you are a nature freak, the „Midland Nature Tour“ (Journey 4), the „Trans Himalayan Nature Tour“ (Journey 5) or the „Destination Kathmandu“ (Journey 6) could be a good pick. If none of the mentioned journeys satisfies your ideas of a visit to Nepal, feel free to contact me. I will arrange your own travel plan through Nepal, whether you want to make a trip with a group of people or on your own. My Nepalese associate partners – Sonam Sherpa and the Kathmandu Guest House Group – and I will consider your wishes and guide you while being on your trip through Nepal.

My first visit to Nepal was in 1971. Ever since, I am closely connected with this country, at first as a development worker and later on as a guest of friends of mine. I have travelled the mountains and the Terai many times myself and I am still riveted by this country. You are welcome to share my experiences and expert knowledge.

I am looking forward to you.
